Job summary

RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. is seeking a High Voltage Manager to oversee HV infrastructure across solar, BESS and wind sites within the UK. You will manage HV networks, safety, and contractor interfaces with DNOs and National Grid.

You will lead asset and operations planning, audits, and maintenance contracts, with a strong focus on HSE. Flexible hybrid working and clear opportunities for growth are offered.

Qualifications

• A technical qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience in energy industry, ideally renewables.
• Experience managing HV systems and contractor safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee health, safety and environmental management on HV apparatus and site.
• Manage contractor safety reviews, including RISKS and MTAs.
• Prepare and implement HV O&M plans for accountable sites.
• Act as primary interface with Asset Management & Operations for HV issues.
• Conduct regular safety audits and drive timely closure of actions.
• Manage HV equipment maintenance contracts and ensure operability of safety-critical devices.
• Support HV system designs and modifications.
• Assist tendering activities related to HV infrastructure.
