Job summary

Dynamic Infrastructure in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Electrical Manager to lead the electrical delivery of utility-scale solar, battery storage, and ICP/grid-connection projects. You will oversee HV/LV systems, substations, transformers, switchgear and protection, from design review through commissioning and energisation.

The role requires real-world delivery of Solar PV, BESS, and ICP works, with hands-on commissioning oversight and strong project management.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering utility-scale Solar PV, BESS and ICP projects.
• Strong HV knowledge and practical understanding of cable terminations.
• Successful experience taking projects through commissioning and energisation.
• Ability to manage the complete electrical scope from initial design through final handover.
• Electrical engineering qualification; HV Authorised Person/Senior Authorised Person experience is highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Manage electrical works from design review and procurement through construction, testing, commissioning, energisation and final handover.
• Oversee HV and LV systems, substations, transformers, switchgear, protection and control, earthing, SCADA, metering and grid connections.
• Provide technical oversight of HV cable installation, jointing and terminations.
• Develop and manage commissioning plans, testing schedules, ITPs, quality documentation and completion records.
• Coordinate with clients, designers, DNOs/IDNOs, OEMs, subcontractors and commissioning engineers.
• Ensure electrical works comply with project specifications, UK regulations, safety requirements and applicable standards.
