Job summary

RWE Renewables UK Management Ltd. is seeking a High Voltage Manager to oversee HV infrastructure across Solar, BESS and Wind sites. You will manage HV networks, contractor safety, and HV O&M planning while interfacing with DNOs, National Grid and site managers.

The role emphasizes safety leadership, auditing, and collaboration with asset management to deliver reliable, compliant operation and future development input.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering qualification with energy industry experience.
• Health & safety qualifications (IOSH/NEBOSH) required.
• Experience with SAP PM/MM.
• Proven leadership and contract/HSE management.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Manage HV network and associated equipment with focus on safety, planning and reporting.
• Lead contractor safety reviews and manage safety documentation.
• Prepare, review and implement HV O&M plans for accountable sites.
• Serve as primary interface with Asset Management, Operations and external stakeholders (DNO, National Grid).
• Conduct regular safety audits and ensure timely closure of actions.
• Oversee maintenance contractors and ensure safety critical devices are checked.
• Assist HV system designs and operational input for future developments.
• Support tendering activities related to HV infrastructure.
