Job summary

Howden Group in Manchester offers a High Net-Worth Insurance Apprenticeship Programme starting September 2027. You join a permanent role while completing an 18‑month development programme, with an induction and hands-on experience in private clients, high-value assets and tailored insurance solutions.

You’ll work in a fast-paced office setting, 3 days a week in the office, aiming to build trusted client relationships and learn to manage client communications with insurers and underwriters.

Qualifications

• No prior insurance experience required; training provided.
• Must have right to work in the UK and lived in the UK for 3+ years.
• GCSE grades: English and Maths at C/4 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Learn foundations of high net-worth motor and home insurance and how an Account Handler supports clients.
• Build confidence speaking with clients about their insurance needs.
• Assist team in communications with insurers and underwriters to find suitable solutions.
• Manage client enquiries and provide clear, accurate information.
• Support policy amendments and renewals processes.
• Develop relationships and provide professional, personal service.
• Help maintain accurate client records.
