Job summary

Howden Group invites you to join the High Net-Worth Insurance Apprenticeship Programme 2027 in Amersham. Starting September 2027, you will enter a permanent role from day one while completing an 18-month development programme.

You will work in the Private Clients team, gaining hands-on experience in high net-worth motor and home cover, learning policy processes and client communications, with a structured induction and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in the UK with permanent residency in the UK for the last 3 years.
• GCSE English and Maths grade C/4 required.

Responsibilities

• Induction then join Private Clients team and gradually take on more responsibility.
• Learn foundations of high net-worth motor and home insurance, and how an Account Handler supports clients.
• Build your confidence speaking with clients and understanding their individual insurance needs.
• Help the team manage communications with insurers and underwriters to find appropriate insurance solutions for clients.
• Learn how to manage client enquiries and provide clear, accurate information.
• Learn how amendments to insurance policies are managed as well as the policy renewals process.
• Develop strong relationships and provide a professional and personal service.
• Support with maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records.
