Job summary

Howden is offering a High Net-Worth Insurance Apprenticeship Programme in Amersham, starting September 2027. You’ll join a permanent role while completing an 18-month development programme, working in the office 4-5 days a week and living within commuting distance.

You'll gain hands-on experience in high net-worth motor and home insurance, earn £23,000, and complete a Level 3 Insurance apprenticeship with a structured progression and travel costs for assessment centres.

Qualifications

• UK right to work without sponsorship.
• Permanent UK resident for the last 3 years.
• GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or higher.
• No overlapping qualifications with the apprenticeship content.

Responsibilities

• Learn the foundations of high net-worth motor and home insurance and how an Account Handler supports clients.
• Build confidence in speaking with clients and understanding their insurance needs.
• Help manage communications with insurers and underwriters to find suitable solutions.
• Learn to manage client enquiries and provide clear information.
• Assist with policy amendments and renewals processes.
• Develop professional client relationships and maintain records.
