Job summary

Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a CBT/EMDR therapist to join CAMHS. You will lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, person-centred care for children and young people and their families.

The role includes delivering NICE-recommended high-intensity interventions and contributing to THRIVE transformation in CAMHS. The post requires post-graduate CBT training and a relevant registration, with willingness to undergo enhanced DBS and flexibly engage with new

Qualifications

• Qualification from High Intensity IAPT Course (Post Graduate Diploma) or other Post Graduate CBT training course
• A recorded/registered doctoral level qualification in clinical psychology, a recorded/registered qualification in one of – nursing, social work, occupational therapy plus further post graduate qualification in CBT
• Significant experience working as a psychological therapy practitioner and demonstrating the competences as required

Responsibilities

• Take a leadership role in the delivery of high quality CAMHS service provision.
• Undertake needs-led, evidence-based, highly skilled assessments and interventions to children, young people and families.
• Provide high intensity interventions including CBT and EMDR as recommended by NICE.
