Job summary

Cornwall Partnership Foundation Trust is seeking a Qualified High Intensity CBT Therapist to join the psychological professions team in adult mental health community services. You will deliver CBT to clients across care sectors and provide supervision to trainee CBT therapists and MHWPs within a trauma-informed, person-centred framework.

The post supports leadership development, offers training in NICE-informed care pathways, and encourages innovation and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Qualified High Intensity CBT Therapist with BABCP accreditation and specialist CBT knowledge to master's or equivalent level.
• Significant experience working as a CBT therapist and demonstrating the competencies required.
• BABCP accredited.
• Successfully completed or willingness to undertake CBT supervisor training.
• Core Mental Health profession and professional registration (e.g. NMC nursing, SWE social work, HCPC).

Responsibilities

• Provide CBT to clients across all sectors of care and offer CBT care advice to non-CBT colleagues.
• Clinically supervise Trainee CBT Therapists and Mental Health Wellbeing Practitioners (MHWPs).
• Guide supervisees on client treatment, onward referrals and caseload management.
