Job summary

Lovey in Birmingham is hiring a Business Development Manager to own the full sales cycle—from lead generation to closing. This permanent, office-based role in Birmingham City Centre offers £40,000 basic salary plus uncapped commission with £100,000+ OTE.

You will build your own pipeline through outbound outreach to business owners, identify decision-makers, qualify opportunities and convert conversations into revenue, owning your pipeline and earnings potential.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B sales, business development, telesales or a full-cycle sales environment.
• Able to generate opportunities and close business.

Responsibilities

• Generate your own leads and build a consistent pipeline of new business opportunities.
• Make high-volume outbound calls to businesses and prospective customers.
• Identify and engage business owners and senior decision-makers.
• Develop new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and outbound activity.
• Understand customers' businesses and identify their funding requirements.
• Qualify opportunities and determine the most appropriate funding solutions.
• Manage the full sales process from initial contact through to close.
• Build strong relationships with prospects and convert them into customers.
