Job summary

A2Z Driving Service Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced HIAB Driver to join our team. You will safely operate HGVs, deliver and offload goods using a HIAB, and perform pre-trip inspections.

The role is full-time and permanent with UK-wide deliveries, including London, and you'll gain responsibility on high-profile contracts. CLASS 1 and 2 driving eligibility is required along with load-securing skills using straps, ratchets and chains.

Qualifications

• Experience securing loads on flatbed vehicles with straps, ratchets and chains.
• Experience operating HIABs and lorry loaders.
• Strong communication and record-keeping abilities; customer-focused.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate HGVs in line with traffic regulations.
• Deliver and offload goods using a HIAB.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and pre-trip inspections.
• Maintain delivery logs and liaise with dispatch.
• UK-wide deliveries, including London; high-profile contracts experience is a bonus.

Job description

Your Day-to-Day:

• Safely operate HGVs in line with traffic regulations
• Deliver and offload goods using a HIAB, ensuring proper load security
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and pre-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and liaise with dispatch
• Proven experience securing loads on flatbed vehicles using straps, ratchets, and chains
• Skilled in operating Lorry Loaders/HIABs Reliable, safety-conscious, and customer-focused Great communication and record-keeping skills

Full-Time, Permanent £34000 £60,000 per year
