Job summary

A2Z Driving Service Ltd in the UK is seeking an experienced HIAB Driver (Class 1 and 2) to join our team for UK-wide deliveries, including London.

You will operate HIABs safely, secure loads with straps and chains, perform pre-trip checks, and maintain delivery logs. Monday–Friday with optional weekend work; dedicated vehicle provided.

Competitive salary £34,000–£60,000 per year with overtime opportunities on HS2/Tideway contracts.

Qualifications

• Experience securing loads on flatbed vehicles with straps, ratchets, and chains.
• Ability to perform daily vehicle checks and pre-trip inspections.
• Strong record-keeping and communication to liaise with dispatch.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Safely operate HGVs in line with traffic regulations
• Deliver and offload goods using a HIAB, ensuring proper load security
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and pre-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and liaise with dispatch
• Proven experience securing loads on flatbed vehicles using straps, ratchets, and chains
• Skilled in operating Lorry Loaders/HIABs Reliable, safety-conscious, and customer-focused Great communication and record-keeping skills
