Job summary

A2Z Driving Service Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced HIAB Driver (Class 1 and 2) to join the team. You will deliver and offload goods using HIAB equipment, ensure load security, and perform daily vehicle checks. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with optional weekend work and competitive pay, including overtime across UK-wide routes, including London, with nights possibly involved.

Qualifications

• Valid UK Class 1 and Class 2 licences.
• Experience with HIAB and load securing on lorries.
• Ability to perform pre-trip inspections and daily checks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate HGVs in line with traffic regulations.
• Deliver and offload goods using HIAB, ensuring load security.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and pre-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and liaise with dispatch.
• Proven experience securing loads on flatbed vehicles.
• Strong communication and record-keeping skills.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Safely operate HGVs in line with traffic regulations
• Deliver and offload goods using a HIAB, ensuring proper load security
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and pre-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and liaise with dispatch
• Proven experience securing loads on flatbed vehicles using straps, ratchets, and chains
• Skilled in operating Lorry Loaders/HIABs Reliable, safety-conscious, and customer-focused Great communication and record-keeping skills

Full-Time, Permanent £34000 £60,000 per year
