Job summary

A2Z Driving Service Ltd is seeking an experienced HIAB Driver (Class 1 and 2) to join our team for UK-wide deliveries. You will be responsible for safe operation of HGVs, HIAB offloading, load security, and accurate delivery logs.

We value reliability, strong communication, and a focus on safety. A dedicated vehicle and overtime opportunities accompany a Monday–Friday schedule with potential weekend work.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 or 2 license
• HIAB certification or proven HIAB experience
• Experience securing loads on flatbed vehicles
• Ability to perform daily vehicle checks and pre-trip inspections

Responsibilities

• Safely operate HGVs in line with traffic regulations
• Deliver and offload goods using HIAB, ensuring proper load security
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and pre-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and liaise with dispatch
• Secure loads on flatbed vehicles using straps, ratchets, and chains

Job description

Your Day-to-Day:

• Safely operate HGVs in line with traffic regulations
• Deliver and offload goods using a HIAB, ensuring proper load security
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and pre-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and liaise with dispatch
• Proven experience securing loads on flatbed vehicles using straps, ratchets, and chains
• Skilled in operating Lorry Loaders/HIABs Reliable, safety-conscious, and customer-focused Great communication and record-keeping skills

Full-Time, Permanent £34000 £60,000 per year
