Job summary

A2Z Driving Service Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced HIAB driver (Class 1 and 2) to join our team. You will operate HIAB-equipped lorries on UK-wide deliveries, load securely and maintain accurate logs.

The role is full-time, with competitive pay and optional overtime. You will work Monday to Friday with occasional weekends, and you will have the opportunity to handle high-profile contracts.

Qualifications

• Experience securing loads on flatbed vehicles using straps, ratchets, and chains.
• Proven ability to liaise with dispatch and maintain accurate logs.
• Great communication and record-keeping skills.
• Safe operation of HGVs in line with traffic regulations.
• Skilled in delivering and offloading goods using HIAB equipment.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Safely operate HGVs in line with traffic regulations
• Deliver and offload goods using a HIAB, ensuring proper load security
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and pre-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and liaise with dispatch
• Proven experience securing loads on flatbed vehicles using straps, ratchets, and chains
• Skilled in operating Lorry Loaders/HIABs Reliable, safety-conscious, and customer-focused Great communication and record-keeping skills
