Job summary

A2Z Driving Service Ltd is seeking an experienced HIAB Driver (Class 1 & 2) for full-time, UK-wide deliveries. You will operate HGVs, load and secure goods with HIAB, and perform daily checks while maintaining accurate logs.

We offer a competitive salary with overtime, a Monday-to-Friday schedule (weekend work optional), and a dedicated vehicle for UK-wide contracts including London. Experience with HS2/Tideway-related work is a bonus.

Qualifications

• Operates HGVs in compliance with regulations.
• Delivers and offloads goods using a HIAB with secure loads.
• Performs daily vehicle checks and pre-trip inspections.
• Keeps accurate delivery logs and communicates with dispatch.

Responsibilities

• Proven experience securing loads on flatbed vehicles using straps, ratchets and chains.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and customer-focused with good record-keeping.

Your Day-to-Day:

• Safely operate HGVs in line with traffic regulations
• Deliver and offload goods using a HIAB, ensuring proper load security
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and pre-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and liaise with dispatch
• Proven experience securing loads on flatbed vehicles using straps, ratchets, and chains
• Skilled in operating Lorry Loaders/HIABs Reliable, safety-conscious, and customer-focused Great communication and record-keeping skills

Full-Time, Permanent £34000 £60,000 per year
