Driver Hire Blackburn is recruiting an experienced Class 1 HGV Driver for general haulage across the UK. You will operate early starts from around 4:00am, handle loading and unloading where required, and complete 2-3 drops per day while maintaining safety and professional standards.

The role requires a valid Class 1 (C+E) licence, strong knowledge of UK roads, and the ability to work independently while delivering excellent customer service.

Class 1 HGV Driver - General Haulage

Class 1 HGV Driver | General Haulage | Early Starts from 4:00am | 2-3 Drops

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 HGV Driver to join our customer's busy operation, carrying out general haulage deliveries across the UK.

This is a great opportunity for a reliable Class 1 (Category C+E) driver who is comfortable with early starts and looking for regular general haulage work. Start times can range from 4:00am onwards, with drivers typically completing around 2-3 drops per day.

The Role

• Driving a Class 1 (C+E) HGV vehicle
• Start times ranging from approximately 4:00am
• Completing around 2-3 drops per day
• General haulage and delivery work
• Loading, unloading and securing loads where required
• Completing daily vehicle checks
• Ensuring loads are transported safely and securely
• Delivering goods professionally and on time
• Dealing with customers at delivery locations
• Following all relevant transport legislation and company procedures

About You

We are looking for an experienced, reliable and professional Class 1 HGV Driver who takes pride in their work.

You will need:

• A valid Class 1 (Category C+E) HGV licence
• Previous Class 1 driving experience
• Experience in general haulage or similar delivery work

Driving Licence Requirements

• Have no more than 6 penalty points on their driving licence
• Have no DR endorsements
