Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is hiring an HGV Technician Trainer to move from the workshop into education roles, delivering practical and theory training to apprentices in Leicester and Wolverhampton.

The role offers full teacher training, a Monday–Friday schedule, and generous benefits including a strong pension, healthcare, sick pay and 33 days holidays. The successful candidate should be Level 3 qualified and within commuting distance of Coventry.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Experience as an HGV Technician, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, PSV Technician, or Bus and Coach Technician.
• Strong hands-on industry experience.
• Willing to travel between Leicester and Wolverhampton and be commuting distance to Coventry.
• Interest in moving into training/education role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver practical and theory-based training to HGV apprentices.
• Support learners through qualifications and development.
• Full teacher training provided and ongoing professional development.
• Initial 6-week training with accommodation in Wolverhampton.
• Travel between Leicester and Wolverhampton sites.
• Monday to Friday role with work-life balance.
