Henry Blue is recruiting a Heavy Vehicle Technical Trainer in Leicester. You will train apprentices and delegates, delivering both practical workshop sessions and classroom-based technical content. Full training is provided, including a route to a teaching qualification.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification or equivalent.
• Strong hands-on HGV / Heavy Vehicle maintenance experience.
• Electrical diagnostics experience.
• Knowledge of modern vehicle technology.
• Good communication skills.
• Enthusiasm for passing your knowledge on to others.
• Full UK driving licence.

Heavy Vehicle Technical Trainer - Leicester

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + bonus opportunities

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

The Opportunity

Are you an experienced HGV / Heavy Vehicle Mechanic looking to move away from the workshop?

We are looking for a Heavy Vehicle professional to become a Technical Trainer, helping train and develop the next generation of technicians.

No teaching or training experience is required. Full training and support will be provided, including the opportunity to gain a teaching qualification.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll use your industry experience to train apprentices and commercial delegates in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.

Your role will include:

• Delivering practical workshop training
• Delivering classroom-based technical sessions
• Supporting Heavy Vehicle apprentices
• Assessing learner progress
• Maintaining learner and training records
• Helping apprentices develop their practical and technical skills

What You Need

• Level 3 Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification or equivalent
• Strong hands-on HGV / Heavy Vehicle maintenance experience
• Electrical diagnostics experience

You do not need a teaching qualification or previous teaching experience.
