Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking an HGV Technician Trainer to move from the workshop into education, delivering practical and theory-based training to apprentices. Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
• Experience as HGV Technician, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, PSV Technician, or Bus and Coach Technician.
• Willing to travel between Leicester and Wolverhampton sites.
• Based within commuting distance of Coventry.

Responsibilities

• Deliver practical and theory-based training to HGV apprentices.
• Support learners through their qualifications and development.
• Full teacher training and ongoing professional development provided.
• Initial 6-week training period in Wolverhampton with accommodation provided.
• Travel between Leicester and Wolverhampton sites as required.

Due to continued growth, they are expanding their HGV training team and are looking for experienced Heavy Vehicle Technicians to join them. Full teacher training and qualifications are provided, making this an ideal opportunity for someone looking to move into education for the first time.

In this role, you will train and mentor HGV apprentices, supporting them through both the practical and theoretical aspects of their qualifications. Working in modern training facilities, you will help learners develop the technical skills, knowledge, and confidence required to become successful Heavy Vehicle Technicians.

The ideal candidate will be a Level 3 qualified HGV Technician, PSV Technician, Bus and Coach Technician, or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic with strong industry experience. Previous teaching or training experience is not required, just a passion for your trade and a desire to help others succeed.

• Passionate about developing the next generation of vehicle technicians
