Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking an HGV Technician Trainer to move from the workshop into education, delivering practical and theory-based training to apprentices. The role covers two sites between Leicester and Wolverhampton, includes full teacher training, and offers a Monday–Friday schedule with strong job security and company benefits. Previous teaching is not required, but a passion for developing skilled technicians is essential.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
• Experience as HGV Technician, Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, PSV Technician, or Bus and Coach Technician.
• Willing to travel between Leicester and Wolverhampton sites.
• Based within commuting distance of Coventry.

Responsibilities

• Deliver practical and theory-based training to HGV apprentices.
• Support learners through their qualifications and development.
• Full teacher training and ongoing professional development provided.
• Initial 6-week training period in Wolverhampton with accommodation provided.
• Travel between Leicester and Wolverhampton sites as required.
• Monday to Friday role with excellent work-life balance.
