Job description

HGV Technician Team Lead / Supervisor - Nights ONLY

Location: Daventry

Salary: £22 per hour

Position Type: HGV Workshop Team Lead / Supervisor

Working Hours and Compensation

1. Monday to Thursday, 4 nights - 18:00 – 06:30 (48-hour week)
2. Overtime available at time and a half
3. Hourly rate of £22 + £1.50 per hour worked

Responsibilities

• Manage and motivate staff in a company specializing in HGV truck maintenance, including tail lift maintenance
• Oversee MOT preparations, engine servicing, and trailer repairs
• Perform moving deck repairs and diagnostics using up-to-date vehicle and trailer diagnostics equipment
• Service customer vehicles and complete service sheets
• Accurately process all relevant job paperwork
• Report all vehicle defects
• Maintain workshop facilities, equipment, and tools in a clean and well-maintained condition
• Support the development of trainees and apprentices
