Maintenance Team Leader, Ibstock, £58,000 + Annual bonus Circa £2k, 10% company pension, option to purchase shares, opportunity to buy and sell additional holiday.

Shifts - 4 on 4 off 5 on 5 off Days & Nights.

About us

ATA is working with a large manufacturing group, who are looking for an experienced maintenance team leader to join their team at their flagship site in Leicestershire. The company, which has a turnover of circa £450m across 30+ sites, has a fantastic reputation within its market space. The site is relatively new, operational for only 6 years, and hosts state-of-the-art machinery. It is led by a diverse and approachable plant manager, alongside an experienced operations team. This opportunity is ideal for a maintenance team leader seeking stability and long-term employment.

About the role

As a Maintenance Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of Shift Maintenance Engineers.

Responsibilities will include:

1. Planning the team’s maintenance work.
2. Supporting the management of shutdown periods.
3. Assisting with complex problem solving and breakdowns.
4. Conducting root cause analysis, continuous improvement, and project management.
5. Managing external contracts and onsite contractors.
6. Overseeing health and safety alongside a SHE coordinator.
7. Managing KPIs.

About you

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience as a maintenance team leader or senior engineer.
• Proven ability to lead a team to achieve KPIs.
• Experience managing health and safety, including completing RAMS.
• Ability to work under pressure and make confident decisions.
• Level 3 engineering qualification and relevant experience.
