Job summary

Auto Skills UK is recruiting an experienced HGV Technician for a permanent night-shift role in Mansfield. You will service, diagnose, repair and maintain HGVs and trailers, working with a small night-shift team to complete tasks with minimal supervision.

The role requires at least 3 years of HGV experience, NVQ Level 3, and strong diagnostic skills; HGV licence is desirable. The night pattern is 6:00 pm – 6:00 am, Monday to Thursday, 48 hours/week with overtime incentives.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent - essential.
• Strong HGV mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Experience working on HGVs and trailers.
• Confidence working independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Hours: Monday-Thursday, 6:00 pm - 6:00 am

Experienced HGV Technician - Permanent Night Shift

Are you an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic looking for a permanent night-shift role with the potential to earn up to £55,000 per year, depending on experience?

We're recruiting for a skilled HGV Technician to join an established commercial vehicle workshop, carrying out servicing, maintenance, diagnostics and repairs across HGVs and trailers.

This is a small night-shift team, so you'll need to be confident working independently, using your own technical experience to diagnose faults and complete repairs with minimal supervision.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:
