Auto Skills UK is recruiting an experienced HGV Technician to join our night-shift team in Tipton. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of commercial vehicles to high safety and reliability standards.

The role involves servicing, diagnosing faults, performing inspections and keeping accurate service records. This permanent position offers 12-hour night shifts, structured progression, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Level 3 or equivalent qualification in HGV/LCV Maintenance and Repair
• Previous HGV, PSV or LCV Technician experience
• Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Full UK Driving Licence preferred
• A reliable and punctual approach to work
• A strong commitment to health, safety and quality

Hours: 12-hour shifts

Contract: Permanent

Shift Pattern

• Week 1: Monday-Thursday, 6:00pm-6:30am


• Week 2: Tuesday-Friday, 6:00pm-6:30am

The Role

As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a commercial vehicle fleet, ensuring vehicles are safe, reliable and maintained to a high standard.

About You

• Level 3 or equivalent qualification in HGV/LCV Maintenance and Repair
