Job summary

Tru Talent seeks an experienced HGV Technician to service, diagnose, repair and maintain heavy vehicles at our Essex workshop. You will use modern diagnostic equipment to identify faults and carry out repairs to DVSA standards.

In this role you will complete MOT preparations and ensure accurate documentation of work performed. The ideal candidate holds Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, has proven HGV experience, and demonstrates strong diagnostic skills plus a commitment to

Qualifications

• Qualified to maintain, diagnose and repair heavy vehicles.
• Experience with HGVs or commercial vehicles preferred.
• Knowledge of DVSA standards is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance on HGVs.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Prepare and complete MOT inspections to DVSA standards.
• Maintain and repair heavy commercial vehicles to a high standard.
• Complete accurate job cards and repair documentation.
• Work efficiently in a busy workshop while maintaining safety standards.
