Tru Talent is recruiting an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy workshop in Erith, Kent. The role covers servicing, diagnostics, repairs and inspections on HGVs and trailers with overtime opportunities and manufacturer-approved training.

The position offers a stable weekday schedule with competitive pay (£58,000 per annum) and a supportive environment for career development. Candidates should have level 3 heavy vehicle qualifications and UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds/IMI in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance.
• Previous HGV/Truck technician experience required.
• Ability to identify worn components to DVSA standards.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship.

Responsabilités

• Carry out major and minor repairs on HGVs, trailers and commercial vehicles.
• Complete servicing, inspections and planned maintenance.
• Carry out diagnostics and fault finding.
• Support breakdown repairs when required.
• Maintain accurate service records and paperwork.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised workshop.
