Job summary

Warwickshire County Council's in-house County Fleet Maintenance (CFM) is recruiting an HGV Technician based at Warwick. You will service, maintain and repair a diverse fleet including heavy commercials, fire appliances and high-performance cars, with part in the out-of-hours standby service.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Be willing to take part in the out-of-hours emergency standby service.
• Be flexible and comfortable undertaking a varied range of duties.

Responsibilities

• Work on an exceptional variety of vehicles, from heavy commercial vehicles and fire appliances to high-performance cars.
• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs for the Council's fleet.
• Be willing to take part in the out-of-hours emergency standby service.
• Support the emergency services by keeping essential vehicles safe, reliable and ready for action.
