Job summary

Warwickshire County Council's County Fleet Maintenance (CFM) operates as an in-house vehicle maintenance arm responsible for servicing, maintenance and repairs for the Council’s fleet, other public sector organisations and external customers. Based at Coleshill, this permanent HGV Technician role offers 37 hours per week, with participation in the out-of-hours standby service and a diverse workload.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence.
• Be willing to take part in the out-of-hours emergency standby service.
• Be flexible and comfortable undertaking a varied range of duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair a diverse fleet of vehicles including heavy commercial vehicles and specialised emergency vehicles.
• Provide servicing, maintenance and repairs for the Council's fleet and external customers.
