Job summary

Octane Recruitment has a vacancy for an HGV Technician at a high-performing dealership. You will service, maintain and repair a range of commercial vehicles using advanced diagnostic tools, working to main dealer standards and prioritising safety and first-time fixes.

A structured training path and progression toward Master Technician status are offered. The role features a 45-hour week (Mon-Fri) with rotating shifts, overtime enhancements, and a clear development plan.

Qualifications

• Level 3 HGV Technician qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience across HGV maintenance and diagnostics.
• Full driving licence (HGV Class 1 desirable).

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance, servicing and repairs as an HGV Technician across a wide range of commercial vehicles.
• Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify and resolve faults efficiently.

Up to £27 per hour (£63,180 basic) + Overtime

Shifts: 45 hours, Monday-Friday (06:00-15:30 / 12:30-22:00 rotation)

Saturdays as required. Top rate available for main dealer-qualified HGV Technicians.
