Job summary

Hunter Knight Recruitment Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a respected group of commercial vehicle dealerships for an HGV Technician in Highbridge. The role is days, with an hourly rate of £19.23 and overtime at £28.85, plus a comprehensive benefits package and a generous annual basic of £45,048.

You will perform major/minor repairs, maintenance, and work with repair teams; NVQ Level 3 required; dealership background preferred; 07:30-15:30 Mon-Fri with alternate Saturdays 08:00-13:00.

Qualifications

• Must be fully qualified Vehicle Technician to NVQ Level 3.
• Committed individual and a good team player.
• Capable of high-quality work in a busy workshop.
• Dealership background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performing major and minor repairs to HGVs.
• Performing regular inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Collaborating with repair teams to diagnose and plan repairs.
• Maintaining records of vehicles repaired or serviced.
• Completing relevant documentation and paperwork.

Commercial Vehicle Technician (HGV) Days

Hourly Rate: £19.23ph + Extensive Overtime at a rate of £28.85

Hours: Mon-Fri: 07.30-15.30 & every other Sat 08.00-13.00 paid x1.5 overtime rate

Annual basic including Sat rate & bonuses: £45,048

The Role

• Performing major and minor repairs to HGV’s
• Performing regular inspection and general preventive maintenance services
• Working with repair teams to help diagnose and plan repairs for the vehicles
• Maintaining records of vehicles that have been repaired or handled
• Completing relevant documentation and paperwork

The Successful Individual

• You will need to be a fully qualified Vehicle Technician to NVQ Level 3
• You will need to be a committed individual and a good team player.
• You must be able to produce high-quality work in a busy workshop environment and be motivated to work towards targets set for your team.
• Must have a dealership background.
