Job summary

Holt-Recruitment is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join a brand-new workshop facility in Great Warley. You will service, maintain and repair a mixed fleet, diagnose faults, and ensure safety compliance.

This role offers progression in a modern environment with a strong emphasis on reliability and efficiency. The position runs 42.5 hours per week with shifts 10:00-18:00 or 12:00-20:00, plus 1 in 2 Saturdays mornings.

Qualifications

• Experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, PSV Technician or LCV Technician.
• Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (preferred).
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability.
• Reliable and proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs across a mixed commercial fleet.
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults.
• Completing inspections and ensuring vehicles meet safety and compliance standards.
• Working efficiently to minimise vehicle downtime.

HGV Technician

Location: Great Warley
Salary: Up to £22 per hour (£48,620 basic)
We are recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a brand-new workshop facility in Great Warley. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a modern, newly built environment on a mixed fleet of HGVs, LGVs and LCVs.

Shift Options

• Monday to Friday, 10:00am – 6:00pm
  or
• Monday to Friday, 12:00pm – 8:00pm
  Plus 1 in 2 Saturday mornings, 6:00am – 12:00pm

Hours

42.5 hours per week

The Role

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs across a mixed commercial fleet
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
• Completing inspections and ensuring vehicles meet all safety and compliance standards
• Working efficiently to minimise vehicle downtime
