We are recruiting on behalf of a leading commercial vehicle dealership for a highly skilled HGV Technician to join their workshop team in the Telford area. The HGV Technician role offers an annual OTE of up to £50,000, dependent on experience, qualifications, and shift patterns. Duties of the HGV Technician:

• - Conduct routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs and trailers
• - Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
• - Carry out vehicle inspections and prepare vehicles for MOT testing
• - Ensure all work complies with manufacturer and DVSA standards
• - Complete accurate job cards and service documentation
• - Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment
• - Work effectively across alternating shifts, contributing to a professional team

Requirements of the HGV Technician:

• - NVQ Level 3 qualification in HGV maintenance or equivalent
• - Minimum of 2 years' experience as an HGV Technician, ideally within main dealer environments
• - Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• - HGV Class 1 or 2 licence is desirable but not essential
• - Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• - Positive attitude, reliability, and proactive approach
• - Right to work in the UK
