Qualifications

• City & Guilds Level 3 in HGV Maintenance.
• Proven experience in servicing, repairing, and maintaining HGVs.
• Full UK driving licence; LGV/PSV licence advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail with an organised, methodical approach.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair trucks and heavy vehicles.
• Perform diagnostics, testing and required maintenance.
• Provide high-quality customer service within a designated area as a HGV Technician.
• Complete warranty, contract and retail paperwork accurately.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.

Duties of a HGV Technician

• Maintain and repair trucks, lorries, and other heavy commercial vehicles
• Conduct diagnostics, testing, and carry out all necessary maintenance and repairs
• Deliver high-quality customer service within a designated area as a HGV Technician
• Complete all warranty, contract, and retail paperwork accurately
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimise customer vehicle downtime

Requirements of a HGV Technician

• City & Guilds Level 3 qualification in HGV Maintenance
• Proven experience in servicing, repairing, and maintaining HGVs
• Manufacturer training or current technical knowledge (desirable)
• Strong attention to detail with an organised, methodical approach
• Full UK driving licence; LGV/PSV licence advantageous
