Qualifications

• Qualifications required: City & Guilds part 1 & 2 / BTEC / IMI in motor vehicle management (or equivalent) or equivalent practical experience in the commercial vehicle industry (or similar environment).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and perform servicing and repairs to Volvo truck & bus standards.
• Ensure all repair orders and service reports are accurately completed.
• Work under pressure and provide solutions to technical challenges while maintaining excellent customer service.

DAYS & NIGHT SHIFTS AVAILABLE

Role

Join our team as a skilled HGV Technician, where you'll be responsible for fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs in line with Volvo's high standards. You’ll ensure all documentation is completed accurately, including repair orders, service reports, and production cards. We are looking for individuals who thrive under pressure and actively seeks solutions to technical challenges. Strong verbal communication skills and a commitment to exceptional customer service are essential.

Day Shift

• Alternate weeks
• Week One: Monday – Friday: 06.00am until 14.00pm
• Week Two: Monday – Friday: 14.00pm until 22.00pm
• Alternate Saturday mornings
• Call out rota

Night Shift

• Alternate weeks: Monday - Thursday / Tuesday - Friday (10 hour shift).

Requirements

• Qualifications required: City & Guilds part 1 & 2 / BTEC / IMI in motor vehicle management (or equivalent) or equivalent practical experience in the commercial vehicle industry (or similar environment).
• HGV licence advantageous but not essential.
