Job summary

Hartshorne Group is recruiting for an HGV Technician at our Alfreton depot (DE55 4QR). You will diagnose faults, service and repair vehicles to Volvo standards, while ensuring accurate documentation of repair orders and service reports. The role demands high-quality work and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications include City & Guilds part 1 & 2 / BTEC / IMI in motor vehicle management (or equivalent). HGV licence is advantageous but not essential.

Qualifications

• Must have City & Guilds part 1 & 2 / BTEC / IMI in motor vehicle management or equivalent.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities essential.
• Excellent documentation of service and repair actions required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and perform servicing and repairs to Volvo standards.
• Accurately complete repair orders, service reports and production cards.
• Maintain high levels of customer service and quality workmanship.
