Job summary

Venatu Consulting Ltd in Rothwell/Leeds is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join a well-established workshop. You will carry out inspections, servicing and maintenance to high standards.

This permanent, full-time role offers a competitive salary (£51,480 per annum) and a comprehensive benefits package, with modern facilities, on-site parking, and a supportive team focused on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• HGV mechanical experience.
• Time-served HGV Technician experience.
• IRTEC accreditation.
• Experience using modern vehicle diagnostic systems.
• Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) HGV licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine inspections, servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
• Investigate faults and report findings accurately.
• Complete repairs to current manufacturer standards.
• Carry out general mechanical repairs and maintenance.
• Manage diagnostics and order parts effectively.
• Work efficiently and ensure repairs are completed right first time.
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality and workmanship.
• Work as part of a professional and supportive team.

HGV Technician

Location: Rothwell/Leeds

Salary: £51,480 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm (Alt sat 7am - 12pm)

Contract: Permanent, full-time

The Role

As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out inspections, servicing, general repairs and maintenance of our vehicles in a professional and safe manner.

The following experience would be advantageous:

• HGV mechanical experience
• City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent mechanical qualification
• Time-served HGV Technician experience
• IRTEC accreditation
• Experience using modern vehicle diagnostic systems
• Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) HGV licence
