Holt-Recruitment is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join a well-equipped workshop in Leeds, performing servicing and repairs on a fleet of HGVs. This role offers a steady workload and opportunities for development.

The position features 42.5 hours per week, an early finish on Fridays, and a salary of up to £43,000 per year with overtime opportunities. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is required; HGV licence is desirable; strong diagnostic skills and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified HGV Technician / Mechanic (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).
• Previous experience in HGV maintenance and repair.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• HGV licence is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing, inspections, and repairs on a fleet of HGVs.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Conduct MOT preparations and safety checks in line with regulations.
• Complete job cards and maintain accurate service records.
