Job summary

Kemp Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced HGV Technician in Leeds to maintain and repair a fleet to the highest standards while adhering to strict health and safety rules.

You will perform fault analysis, pre-MOT prep and full vehicle overhauls, providing technical support from diagnosis through to final testing, with overtime paid after 40 hours.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of HGVs & Trailers.
• Fully skilled with industry recognised qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ Level Three).
• Previous experience as an HGV Technician.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical work to the highest standards in line with health and safety requirements.
• Carry out maintenance, repairs and modification work on the fleet and provide technical support from fault analysis through to pre-MOT prep and full vehicle overhauls.

Job description

HGV Technician

Location: Leeds

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-6.30pm-£19.05 per hour

1 in 2 Saturday Mornings

Overtime rate paid at 1.5 after 40 hours

Pay: £49,530 basic

About your new HGV Technician role

• You will provide technical work to the highest standards in line with strict health and safety requirements
• You will carry out maintenance, repairs and modification work on the fleet of vehicles and trailers and provide technical support from fault analysis through to pre-MOT prep and full vehicle overhauls.

General HGV Technician duties

The successful HGV Technician will require

• You will have an in-depth knowledge of HGV's and Trailers
• The successful HGV Technician must be a fully skilled with industry recognised qualifications (City & Guilds / NVQ Level Three) in heavy vehicle service, maintenance and repair.
• Previous experience as an HGVTechnician
