Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking an experienced HGV Technician in Hull, East Yorkshire. The role involves carrying out maintenance, servicing and repairs on HGVs in a busy workshop with a structured pattern of hours.

You will diagnose faults with diagnostic equipment, ensure safety and quality, and maintain accurate job cards. The position requires NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) and a full UK driving licence. HGV licence is beneficial but not essential.

Job title: HGV Technician

Location: Hull, East Yorkshire
Working Hours: Mon to Fri 06:00-14:00/ 14:00-22:00 and 1 in 2 Saturday mornings

Salary: £37,000-£40,000

Interaction Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to join a busy and well-established workshop in Hull. This is a great opportunity for a skilled technician looking for a stable, full-time role with a competitive hourly rate and structured working pattern.

The Role

As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Carrying out routine maintenance, servicing, and repairs on HGVs
• Diagnosing faults using diagnostic equipment
• Ensuring all work is completed to high safety and quality standards
• Completing job cards and maintenance records accurately
• Working effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Previous experience as an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic
• Relevant qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred)
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Full UK driving licence (HGV licence beneficial but not essential)
