Auto Skills UK is recruiting an HGV Technician for our Hull depot. The role involves thorough vehicle inspections to the O licence standard, carrying out repairs, servicing and MOT preparation, fault finding and updating paperwork.

The successful candidate will hold full industry qualifications and an apprenticeship, with knowledge of truck and trailer maintenance. The position offers a full-time permanent contract with a salary of £44,000–£46,000 per year, plus a strong benefits package and

Responsabilidades

• Carry out thorough vehicle inspections in line with the 'O' licence requirements.

HGV Technician

Depot Location: Hull

Working Hours: £17.34 per hour

Week 1 = 7am - 16.30pm

Week 2 = 11am - 20.30pm (Saturday Morning 7am to 12 midday £25ph)

Contract Type: Full time / Permanent role

Financial Package: £44,000 to £46,000 Per Annum

My client, a well-established business in the HGV Industry is actively seeking to employ an HGV Technician on a rotating shift.

Duties

• Carry out thorough vehicle inspections in line with the 'O' licence requirements
• Carry out any repairs required that have been highlighted on the initial inspection
• General Servicing and MOT preparation
• Fault finding & diagnostics
• Updating all required paperwork / databases

Attributes

• hold full industry qualifications and have served a recognised apprenticeship.
• Have detailed knowledge and understanding of Truck & Trailer Maintenance
• A commercial licence would be a distinct advantage for isn't essential
• Knowledge of Hydraulic and Electrical systems, maintenance and repair
