Zusammenfassung

Auto Skills UK is seeking a skilled HGV Technician for our Hull depot. The role involves inspecting vehicles to O-licence standards, performing necessary repairs, and preparing vehicles for MOT.

You will carry out servicing, diagnostics, and update records to ensure compliance. The ideal candidate holds industry qualifications and a recognised apprenticeship, with knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems.

Qualifikationen

• Hold full industry qualifications and have served a recognised apprenticeship.
• Detailed knowledge and understanding of Truck & Trailer Maintenance.
• A commercial licence would be a distinct advantage but isn’t essential.
• Knowledge of Hydraulic and Electrical systems, maintenance and repair.

• Carry out thorough vehicle inspections in line with the 'O' licence requirements.
• Carry out repairs highlighted on inspections.
• General servicing and MOT preparation.
• Fault finding and diagnostics.
• Update all required paperwork/databases.

HGV Technician

Depot Location: Hull

Working Hours: £17.34 per hour
Week 1 = 7am - 16.30pm
Week 2 = 11am - 20.30pm (Saturday Morning 7am to 12 midday £25ph)

Contract Type: Full time / Permanent role

Financial Package: £44,000 to £46,000 Per Annum

My client, a well-established business in the HGV Industry is actively seeking to employ an HGV Technician on a rotating shift.

• Carry out thorough vehicle inspections in line with the 'O' licence requirements
• Carry out any repairs required that have been highlighted on the initial inspection
• General Servicing and MOT preparation
• Fault finding & diagnostics
• Updating all required paperwork / databases

The successful HGV HGV Technician will have the following attributes;

• hold full industry qualifications and have served a recognised apprenticeship.
• Have detailed knowledge and understanding of Truck & Trailer Maintenance
