Job summary

Auto Skills UK is recruiting an experienced HGV Technician in Epping to join a well-established fleet maintenance company. The role covers servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles, with fault diagnosis and MOT preparation as core duties.

Working Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week, you will join a skilled workshop team. The position offers a competitive package up to £57,000 OTE and a basic £52,000, plus strong benefits.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in HGV/PSV/LCV maintenance.
• Previous experience as an HGV/PSV/LCV/Commercial Vehicle Technician.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
• Reliable, punctual and a team player.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and technical faults.
• Complete routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT and safety inspections.
• Accurately complete job cards and maintenance documentation.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
• Work effectively as part of an experienced workshop team.

HGV TECHNICIAN

OTE: £57,000 per annum

Basic Salary: £52,000 per annum

Location: Epping

Working Hours: 45 hours per week | Monday to Friday only

The Role:

What We're Looking For:

• Level 3 qualification or equivalent in HGV, PSV or LCV Maintenance and Repair
• Previous experience as an HGV Technician, PSV Technician, LCV Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Full UK Driving Licence preferred
• Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team
