Job summary

Auto Skills UK is seeking an experienced HGV Technician for a full-time, permanent role in the United Kingdom. You will diagnose, repair and maintain heavy goods vehicles, ensuring safety and compliance.

The role involves liaising with shift supervisors, completing job cards, and participating in call-outs, with 44-hour weeks and rotating shifts. We offer a strong benefits package including pension, healthcare, 25 days leave and ongoing training, with potential to earn up to £53,768 per year

Qualifications

• C&G or NVQ Level 3 HGV Technician qualification.
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Previous HGV maintenance and repair experience.
• Good diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Understanding of health and safety within a workshop environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional and proactive approach to vehicle maintenance.
• Clean driving licence.
• HGV driving licence would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

Salary: Up to £53,768 per annum + Overtime

Hours: 44 hours per week | Monday-Friday | Rotating shifts
