Job summary

AutoSkills UK in Rickmansworth is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join a well-established fleet maintenance team. The role covers servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles, and fault diagnostics. You will prepare vehicles for MOT and ensure accurate documentation.

Working hours are 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with no weekend work. The package includes £50,000 base salary (£55k OTE), enhanced pension, annual bonus, 25 days leave plus holidays, and paid

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in HGV/PSV/LCV Maintenance and Repair.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• Previous experience as HGV/PSV/LCV/Commercial Vehicle Technician.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and technical faults.
• Complete routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Prepare vehicles for MOT and safety inspections.
• Accurately complete job cards and maintenance documentation.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
• Work effectively as part of an experienced workshop team.

OTE: £55,000 per annum

Location: Rickmansworth

We are currently working with a well-established fleet maintenance company based in Rickmansworth, who are looking to recruit an additional HGV Technician to join their successful and growing team.

The Role:

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and technical faults

• Prepare vehicles for MOT and safety inspections

What We're Looking For:

• Level 3 qualification or equivalent in HGV, PSV or LCV Maintenance and Repair
• Previous experience as an HGV Technician, PSV Technician, LCV Technician or Commercial Vehicle Technician
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Full UK Driving Licence preferred
• Reliable, punctual and able to work well as part of a team
