Job summary

Marshall Mercedes-Benz Truck and Van Andover is seeking an HGV Technician to service and repair a range of commercial vehicles. The role includes diagnostic work, warranty tasks, oil changes and engine work, with modern tooling and support.

Qualifications

• Recognised Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
• Previous experience as a Service Technician/Mechanic with warranty and servicing exposure.
• Strong teamwork, safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing and maintenance on a range of vehicles, including diagnostic, warranty, and repair work.
• Handling maintenance tasks from oil changes to engine changes, supported by digital write-ups and job cards.
• Conducting eVHCs in line with Marshall standards.

What we offer

• Competitive pay rate of up to £50,370 (depending on experience)


• Additional £30 per day night shift allowance


• Overtime paid at 1.4x hourly rate

In this role

• You'll carry out servicing and maintenance on a range of vehicles, including diagnostic, warranty, and repair work.


• You'll handle a variety of vehicle maintenance tasks, from oil changes to engine changes, supported by digital write-ups and job card completion.


• You'll conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) in line with Marshall standards.

We're looking for

• Someone with a recognised Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).


• Someone with previous experience as a Service Technician/Mechanic, ideally with exposure to both warranty and servicing work.


• Someone with strong teamwork skills, who follows process and upholds high standards of safety and quality.


• Someone with a MOT Licence is a plus - full training can be provided if not yet qualified.


• Most importantly, someone eager to learn as this role will test you, but also help you develop and progress within your Mechanic careers with our manufacturer accreditation training.
