Serco in Twickenham is seeking a committed HGV Refuse & Recycling Driver/Loader to join our Richmond team. You’ll deliver a complete waste and recycling service to residents and businesses, working with a friendly, professional team to keep streets clean and promote excellent customer service.

The role requires a valid Class 1 or 2 licence with Driver CPC, physical fitness, and a proactive, team-focused attitude.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 1 or 2 driving licence & Driver CPC.
• Hard working and physically fit for the role.
• Enthusiasm and a positive, customer-focused approach.

Responsabilités

• Drive pre-planned routes as the driver with Loaders, collecting waste and recycling from residential and commercial properties.
• Be the public face of Serco’s Environmental Services in the community.
• Carry out vehicle safety checks before starting rounds and ensure truck is clean and ready.

Location: Twickenham TW2 7SG

Salary: £41,629 per annum + excellent benefits

Contract Type: Full time - Permanent

Working hours: 40hrs per week. PM Shifts starting from 1pm / 2pm

Days: Monday - Friday with occasional Saturday work & Bank Holidays.

As a HGV Refuse & Recycling Driver/Loader in our Richmond team, you'll provide a complete waste and recycling service on behalf of the residents and community in Twickenham. With a professional, dedicated and friendly team of Refuse Collection staff, we ensure that streets, homes and businesses are kept clean, safe and tidy, whilst providing the very best levels of customer service to all members of the community that we serve.

You’ll Be Entrusted To

• You will set off on a pre-planned route as the driver with your team of Loaders you are working with collecting waste and recycling from residential homes and commercial properties.
• You will be the public face of Serco’s Environmental Services team in the community.
• Before setting out on your rounds, you will ensure that your vehicle safety checks are completed and that your truck is clean and work ready.
