Job summary

Lanes Group Plc in Sheffield is seeking an HGV Operator (Drainage) to support drainage cleaning using high-pressure water jetting from our depot in Sheffield. You will work in a small team, train on equipment, and liaise with customers to ensure smooth service.

The role requires an HGV Class 2 licence (ideally with ≤3 points) and a CPC qualification; CSCS is a bonus. Our team emphasizes safety and reliable operations across the UK’s leading drainage provider.

Qualifications

• HGV Class 2 licence with ideally no more than 3 penalty points.
• Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) is desirable.
• An in date CSCS would be advantageous – could be obtained if necessary.

• Work closely in a two-person team operating high-specification jetting and vacuumation units.

Job description

As a HGV Operator (Drainage), you will:

• You will be working closely in a team of 2 operating high specification jetting and vacuumation units - full training will be provided
• Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes, and other wastewater systems - full training will be provided
• Liaising with customers.
• Updating electronical records.
• Ensuring safety issues are reported.
• Vehicle and Jetting Equipment checks
  We are seeking a skilled and motivated HGV Operator (Drainage) to join our Depot based in Sheffield. This role involves identifying defects and blockages within the sewer network and using high pressure water jetting to clean and clear., HGV Class 2 licence, with no more than 3 penalty points ideally
• A Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) is desirable
• An in date CSCS would be advantageous - however this could be obtained if necessary
