Job summary

Panda is hiring an HGV Mechanic in Leeds. You will carry out inspections, MOT prep, and repairs, and perform preventative and reactive maintenance. You will diagnose faults, complete maintenance records, and work both independently and within a workshop team to maintain a clean, safe environment.

The role requires HGV workshop experience, a full UK driving licence, and owning tools. Category B or CE is desirable but not essential. A competitive salary and on‑site parking are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in an HGV workshop or depot environment.
• Strong attention to detail when completing paperwork and records.
• Commitment to safety and vehicle reliability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a workshop team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out 6‑weekly inspections, MOT preparations and repairs.
• Perform planned, preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs.
• Accurately complete maintenance records and paperwork.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of the workshop team.
• Maintain a clean, safe and tidy workshop.
• Report faults and issues to the Foreman or Supervisor.
• Support high standards of safety and compliance.
