Job summary

Panda in Manchester is seeking an experienced HGV Mechanic to join our workshop team. In this hands-on role you will inspect, maintain and repair HGV vehicles to high standards, using our onsite brake tester, diagnostic tools and main dealer equipment.

You will work Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm, with a supportive team and opportunities for ongoing training. A full UK driving licence and your own tools are essential, and category B or CE is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in an HGV workshop.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Own tools and reliable paperwork.
• Safe, accurate and reliable maintenance approach.

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspections, MOT preparations and repairs.
• Perform planned, preventative and reactive maintenance.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs.
• Complete maintenance records accurately.
• Work independently and as part of a workshop team.
• Maintain a clean, safe workshop.
