Job summary

Panda is recruiting an experienced HGV Mechanic to join our Bromborough workshop. This hands-on role involves inspecting, maintaining, and repairing HGV vehicles to high standards in a well-equipped facility.

You will perform inspections, preventative maintenance, diagnose faults, and keep accurate records. The position offers a stable Monday–Friday shift, onsite parking, and opportunities for training and development within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience working in an HGV workshop.
• Full UK driving licence held.
• Own set of tools required.
• Desirable: Category B or CE licence.
• Careful with documentation and records.

Responsibilities

• Carry out inspections, MOT preparations, and repairs.
• Perform planned, preventive and reactive maintenance.
• Diagnose faults and complete effective repairs.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and paperwork.
• Work independently or as part of the workshop team.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and compliant workshop.
